WebMatrix/WebDeploy/Publish Settings: Unable to establish connection

Hello,

My WebMatrix 2 based test-site (with no database) is working fine in my chrome browser. So I tried to publish this test site in Cytanium by using WebDeploy, In the Publish Settings after I filled in all the values received from Hosying Provider's email in the input boxes, when I click Validate Connection button, it says 'Unable to establish connection'. I use WebMatrix 2 (7.1.1692.0) in my Laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium.

Dear Ratna,

I also use Cytanium Hosting. You need to enable Web Publishing before you can use WebDeploy.

Thanks Abhishek, for your response.

I use the Free WebMatrix Hosting on Cytanium. In my case, it does not show the 'Web Publishing' Tab between 'Headers' and 'MIME Types' as shown in the Figure in your Post.

Any thoughts?

Ok then check your username and the password. Usually there are two username one username and the other username has a underscore with it give both of it a try.

I have tried both the userNames but still get the same error again!

Unable to establish Connection!

Any further thoughts?

I think the free webmatrix hosting is discontinued or will be discontinued.

Better you can get a Free Site Cloud Hosting at Cytanium - Its Windows Azure for Websites
