Me too so that's not the problem. However also check your spam folder just in case.
I suggest you open your Profile (https://forums.asp.net/user/editprofile.aspx#) and check under the Email & password tab if you have selected the needed options to receive emails and notifications.

I am just wondering if it happens to many people why admins don't fix it?
On occasion the queued outgoing mail gets backed up, due to volume or server maintenance, so it may take an hour or more to receive the notices. I don't believe that unchecking and rechecking the Receive Emails option was the resolution to this specific
problem.
Are you now receiving email notifications from the site?
click email&password tag >click check box for Receive Emails>click check box for Receive rich (HTML) emails>click check box for
Enable Email Notifications of forum/thread subscriptions and replies to my posts>Go to option tag>Click save all changes button
The "Enable Email Notifications of forum/thread subscriptions and replies to my posts" is applied to threads in which you newly post. If you only recently checked this box, the older threads in which you participated will not send you email notifications.

It is not in spam, however I received just now, and I did what you said - unckeck/save/check/save Receive Emails option
Let's see

To enable email notifications for those older threads (such as http://forums.asp.net/t/1867678.aspx/2/10?restrict+access+to+files+based+on+user+identity), you need to click the "Subscribe via Email" link on the thread to toggle on the email subscription.
