Hi All,
Am recently moved to a new company, now they assigned to a project. which has Flex, web services, MS Sql and am having around 5 years of exp in Asp.Net.
Will this flex technology related to my exp? or will it affect/divert my career?
Please advise.

Hello,
It depends on your goals. If you want to keep programmig for microsoft OS's you should avoid flex, just would spend time learning it.
But if you are interested in increase your range of delvelopment, you should consider this technology.
Let's say Silverlight is the flex contender.
Pros: Flex can run on most OS's but iOS.
Cons: Most companies use java than .net with flex. Adobe left flex as open source www.spoon.as
this is a my humble personal flex website
