Can someone tell me a link where I can just download SQL Management Studio 2008. I've searched online and download SQL Server 2008, but SSME is not showing in my start menu.
I did and for some reason it's not showing management studio in my start programs menu. I just need the management studio to log into my hosting site database. I don't actually use the database on my computer. Any ideas?
I found the answer on the following link below. I re-installed SQL server 2008 R2 and Management Studio is showing up and I can connect to my database on my hosting account.
Management Studio wont install because the following folder already exists, so the installer thinks it is already on there.

Yep, seems like the server installed fine. Just can't find management studio in my start menu.

I found the answer on the following link below. I re-installed SQL server 2008 R2 and Management Studio is showing up and I can connect to my database on my hosting account.
Management Studio wont install because the following folder already exists, so the installer thinks it is already on there.
%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft SQL Server\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\
Rename the above ..\Tools\ folder to ..\Tools_Bak\, then run the SqlRun_Tools.msi from your install disk.
