Not inactive. When a user closes his browser then he will be logged out automatically Session is lost.
But when he clicks rememberMe then even after closing n open the browser again he will be still logged in.
Thanks

Login time out?
Dec 29, 2012 01:22 PM|LINK
Hi,
I downloaded StarterSite a time ago. I want to know is there a timeout for every user that has not checked keep logged in button?
I mean everytime if I login without checking I am automatically loggedout after 10 mins of inactiveness.

In your web.config file, under the <system.web></system.web> element, place the following to get 8 hours (480 minutes)k of login persistence:
<authentication mode="Forms">
<forms timeout="480" />
<!--8 hours (480 minutes)-->
</authentication>

Ok,
But I want that the user stays logged in untill the browser is on! Than logs out automatically,
However if he has checked rememberMe than he should stay signin for the timelimit he wants!
Will this do that?

You mean that, When users get inactive the server logs them out?
And so what about the rememberMe? Will it log the user in untill he signsout?

But my browser logs me out after almost 10% of inactiveness.
Does server activeness depends too?
I mean what if my whole computer goes inactive? If this the problem?
