I know the issue about page width, margin size etc and my report pages are well within the allowable size.
My report is divided into 5 rectangles which are hidden or displayed depending on a parameter selection, if All rectangles are chosen and all printed I do not get an extra blank page when exporting to .pdf. However if any of the first 4 rectangles are chosen
I get an extra blank page when exporting to .pdf. I am using ssrs 2012 and I believe it is the vertical height below the chosen rectangle even though it is hidden which is causing the blank page. If I choose the 5th (last) rectangle to print there is not blank
page when exporting to .pdf. Any guidance on this issue would be appreciated
1. The data in the rectangles changes depending on results - so may be just one page but can be more - each rectangle displays it's data correctly, there is always some data present in the rectangle.
2. The report is landscape with 11in width X 8.5 in, margins .5in left and .25in right, the widest rectangle is 10.00012in so with margins is still under 11 inchs
3. The viewer also shows the extra blank page before exporting to .pdf.
4. I don't know what you mean here
5. Yes the tablix is in the rectangle.
If you could explain point 4 in more detail for me.

Check these things,
1)data in dataset for rectangles,
2) check a4 size,body =7.5 approx,report's Ht & width, & further portrait or landscape.
3)Are they printed good on viewer?
4)drop something other than rectangle ,place it on body.
5)I hope you have tablix in rectangle must.
as much as i think there is non visibility property true or some data repitations display false in ur rectangle...

Hi
Thank you so much for the reply

I got my answers,
2 make report portrait, 11in height X 8.5 in width then right clck & go on propeties of body....try body dimmension w=10in instead of 11.
pdf requires less dimension as viewer.
