I'm a beginner program and I hear ASP.NET is a valuable skill to have. I've took a couple of C++ basic cources, so nothing to advance when it comes to programming.
Any advice for a book to begin learning ASP.NET with a beginner feel to it?

Honestly, for beginners, there's no such thing as a "bad" book.
You'll learn from your mistakes over time.

I decided on ordering: http://www.amazon.com/Beginning-ASP-NET-VB-Wrox-Programmer/dp/0470502215/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1356640897&sr=8-1&keywords=ASP.NET
I hear a lot of good reviews on this book.
