I have restarted many times without success, always throws this error in log : [12F0:26DC][2012-12-10T15:48:41]: MUX: Stop Block: RebootPendingBlock : The computer needs to be restarted before setup can continue. Please restart the computer and run setup

Should have noted I am trying to install VS 2012 Express, I have updated all critical on windows update and rebooted still throwing the same error, cheers
See the installation proccess, check what the software need to be installed as the requirement and not successfully installed. Install that software manualy.
I installed the VS 2012 Express products as well without any issues, except for VS 2012 Express for Windows Phone, as this is a 64-bit only product and I am on a 32-bit machine.
Do you have Visual Studio 2012 Professional or above installed?

Can't Install VS Express on Win8

OS VERSION: 6.2.9200.16442 (Win8 RTM)

Run Windows Update and make sure that you have installed all critical updates and then reboot. After this, try reinstalling again.
I have all of the VS 2010 Express products installed on my Win 8 PC.

I have tried via the web install, ISO and the .exe it all throws the same error. Setup Blocked, Please restart.
