  reset rownumber on groupbase

  Hi folks

  Lets suppose i have fatherid & child

  a father can have many child,,

  I applied group on father id & displaying child description on father id

  I m displaying the records by row group by fatherid name is fathergroup ok,now the issue is that i want to restart(reset) the rownumber(number) while the new fatherid is display on the row...

  usualy i use =1 and running sum. There is option when summing, affect group only or whole report. Apologize
  Programming to simplify, dont look for hard way

  i did it by rownum("groupname")
