I want to prepare my resume for ASP.NET developer.
I don't know how to describe what i know in ASP.NET programming So i am telling you about a project i have done.
1)a registration form with all features that monster.com having.
2)Then all entered values will go to DB as different tables.
3)validate log in with values in DB.
4)having different master pages for different types of users.
5)Edit profile feature with textboxes and labels with ajax as like in facebook..
6)Display database values with concatination in a datalist
7)"contact us" using smtpclient and mailmessge
8)log out facility
I used visual studio 2010 with ajax control toolkit installed.
Kindly tell me what all i can write in my resume.
Currently my resume is very unimpressive like
TECHNICAL SUMMERY
Operating Systems : WINDOWS- XP, WINDOWS 7, WINDOWS VISTA
Programming Languages : C, C#
Scripting Language : HTML,CSS,JavaScript
Database : My SQL
Web Technologies : ASP.NET
I suggest you create a profile at LinkedIn, fill it in and have a pdf document generated from it. Also take a look at other resumes from people similar to your expertise/experience to get a guide.

I gave you an idea. Did you try it out already? If not, do so. Create a chronological overview of what you've done and talk about what you did. Don't state things you haven't done to pimp it up or make it look like you're better than you are. You'll regret
it in the end when people find out you've been lying.

A quarter of a century ago, i was working for Wang, the computer company that for all intents and purposes inventer word processing ... i was managing customer support staff ... one of the best things that happened to me was a course on customer relations
given by a consultant (Brad Stackhouse) ... the best advice he gave was this: "if you tell the truth, you do not need a good memory". Kris has said almost the same thing, this way: "Don't state things you haven't done to pimp it up or make
it look like you're better than you are. You'll regret it in the end when people find out you've been lying.".
in my 45+ years as a programmer, i've written many résuimés. my current résumé is an ASP.NET MVC 4, c#, .NET 4 website ... i tried to raise the bar on "the résumé" ... and mostly failed.
people looking for résumés tend to want them as attachments; people looking for résumés also tend to want them in the same general format ... so they can compare you with everybody else.
You're looking for advice ... my suggestion is to get professional help wiith your résumé ... if you're lucky, you can get it for free ... in Ontario, our provincial government provides such help. You should see if you can get that for yourself.
One thing you probably do not want to do is to describe what you've done in technical terms like "having different master pages"; generally, you are likely better off describing your project(s) in business terms ... something that a HR person can
read and understand ... if you get past the HR person and actually get an interview with technical staff, you'll get an opportunity to explain how you implemented you application in technical terms to the technical interviewer(s).

Hi, I suggest that you create an online portfolio on a (social) network - LinkedIn, Facebook and so on.
When creating your portfolio, please note that it is not simply documenting what your accomplishmnets in a list but also about showing your viewers your thoughts, your goals and that way you think. A good porfotlio is all rounded.

N.B.: your cover letter is likely much more important than your résumé, although your résumé also needs to be excellent.
