I install Windows 8 32 bit and Visual Studio 2010, I cannot upgrade to Visual 2012 because I current work in a team.
I install IIS 8, ASP.NET 3.5 and 4.5 from Turn Windows Features on or off, but when build an run in localhost it get error with file *.svc:
HTTP Error 404.3 - Not Found The page you are requesting cannot be served because of the extension configuration. If the page is a script, add a handler. If the file should be downloaded, add a MIME map.
Here's the list I install in Windows Features/IIS/World Wide Web/Application Development Features:
I already solved by myself with install all Features below, I do not know exactly what's need and what's not, but after install all of them, I can access my WCF in browser. Before that, I use only:
IIS/World Wide Web Services/Application Development Features/.NET Extensibility 3.5 and
4.5, ASP, ASP.NET 3.5 and 4.5,
ISAPI Extensions, ISAPI Filters.
After that, I add:
IIS/World Wide Web Services/Application Development Features/Application Initialization.
