First of all, to the members who are going to lecture me saying don't care about points and blah blah:
I do not care about points. I have enough points for myself. I'm reporting the bug here.
I can see my article (Logging with ASP.NET) has been accepted as the article of the day on Nov 12, 2012. But I didn't get any e-mail saying it was accepted and
I cannot see the points added to the 'You submitted an article that was accepted' section in my profile. Currently it's 20 and that because two of my posts has been accepted before. The newly accepted article doesn't add any points.
I have couple of queries/problems which are because of a few of my observation in past few days. before asking the question let me give a brief introduction.
I have been submitting article links for Article of the day and my articles were being accepted. whenever my article is getting published as article of the day I used to get an email and the recognition points increase by 10. Now the problems I am facing:
From past few weeks, I am not recieving any email when my article is getting published as article of the day. I have to visit the site daily to check for it. I have checked under my profile settings and the "Send email" options are all checked. So Why am
I not recieving any emails when My article is published as Article of the day.
The total number of articles published as article of the day for me are 17 so far. But the profile page is showing only 15 and from quite a few days. Why are the reputation points not increasing? IS there some max limit on number of articles in a duration?
Could someone please let me know whether this is normal or could be a possible bug?
To follow up, the missing points for article approvals between 11/1/2012 and 12/2/2012 have now been awarded. Thank you to all for your continuing submissions!

I'm still seeing this behaviour. My article (Creating a Chat Application in ASP.NET with SignalR) has been accepted on the Feb 18, 2013.
But I didn't recieve any e-mail notification. Actually today only I noticed it has been accepted as the Article of the day because of the massive hits I got in my blog.
However, I'm not sure whether the points had been added or not. But I can see "You submitted an article that was accepted" is still 40 in my profile (Which was same as I had BEFORE my latest article was accepted).

I agree with Ruchira, I was also expecting an article acceptance email but not received.

Hello,
I've already reported those bugs. Check this thread. In there, Terri said they will look in to that and resolve it quickly.
