  Microsoft 3.5 Framework setup error - Windows 7

  Hi i get this error in .net framework saying to read the error log and when i do it says .net framework 2.0  SP1 installation failed going to send a screenshot to show you.

  Hi

  Please use the .NET Framework cleanup tool to completely uninstall the previous 2.0 version that you have on your machine.

   It can be accessed at http://astebner.sts.winisp.net/Tools/dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip

  Also, after doing this you can download the full .NET Framework 3.5 from here http://download.microsoft.com/download/6/0/f/60fc5854-3cb8-4892-b6db-bd4f42510f28/dotnetfx35.exe .

  Did what you asked still didnt work because windows 7 only has versions:

  1.0

  1.1

  4.0

  4.5

  Hi MajestiK

  You could try install .NET Framework 2.0 sp1 first.

  Or you should search the error code, and find the real reason of error.
