  Hi,

  I am trying to send bulk mails using my own SMTP server. After sending fews mails , i was not able to send mails to gmail.

  i am able to send mails to other domain...

  (a) sending e-mail in bulk can lead to problems such as your ip address being blocked ... this happens if your bulk e-mail is determined to be spam.

  (b) is it your own dedicated server?  does anyone else share the physical box?  does anyone else share the same ip address?

  (c) how bulky is your bulk e-mail?   how many messages per day are you attempting to send?

  (d) are your e-mail messages plain text or HTML?

  Services like gmail are likely to limit the number of identical e-mails received per day if your e-mail is identified as bulk UCE (Unsolicited Commercial E-mail).

  (f) can you send to gmail after waiting a day?
