In the Community page, I see my name in all lowercase while in
Forums page, I see it with the correct case. For example, my username is display as
ruchira in the Community page. It display as Ruchira in the Forums page.
it's a long standing one that I already reported ages ago. It's rather low on the priority list I guess as it doesn't hinder the site's working in such a way that it slows down performance or simply makes it unable to function properly.

Kris, we've done some work in this area. So if there are outstanding issues with name casing I'd like to get them identified and logged.
Sometimes it's hard to follow up with all the hard work you guys are doing to keep this site healthy, I thought it was still on the todo list.
I can see my name XIII appear as xiii on http://www.asp.net/. And basically on all other pages in the main menu except for the forums (so downloads, getting started, web pages, ...). So if I'm correct it's mainly the Umbraco
part of the site which is showing it as lower case.

We did some work to correct this at the end of November. Can you let me know if you are still seeing a discrepancy in your username casing? (And if you are, can you try deleting the site cookies and trying again?)

I tried with a fresh browser (Fresh installation) and I still see the username in all lower case for the rest of the asp.net site.

Can you let me know specifically which areas of which pages you see your name in lowercase? So far I have:

Yesterday, I saw it on the Top (Signed in as ruchira). But today I can see it with correct case.
Yes that's the other place. I only noticed those two places.

Thanks for the further information! I have reopened that bug as a regression and we'll work to resolve it.
