I don't happen to have a mac handy to test with, but on my windows box, i do see overlap from the footer only if i turn on AdBlock. The content that AdBlock is stripping out causes the page footer to move up a bit too high... Are you perhaps running AdBlock?
The team that manages the site had logged a task to see about addressing that scenario and in the meantime you might disable AdBlocker for this site.

Well yeah I know, im a .NET Developer but I also use Mac, so yes they do really exist :p
I'm using Chrome for Mac on OS X Mountain Lion, and this is what happens:
So the content is placed behind the footer section...
