I am very new to this programming world.. I am currently working in a small Web Development company which basically works on ASP.Net (2.0 Framework) with Visual Studio 2005 and Sql server 2005.. I have an xperience of around 6 Months+ over here.. Now the
situation is that I want to do some Microsoft Certification to put some weightage on my resume.. But after searching Net I could not get proper idea about from where to start with there are a lot of Certifications over there... I am workin on C#.Net with SQL
Server 2005..
Please let me now from where should I start my journey to certification step by step ie which certification at first..
I recommend doing the Distributed/Enterprise exam last. Choose either windows or web based on what you are currently doing, so you get a feel for how the exams work before moving into technology you may not have so much experience with.

Hi,
Check here: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification/visual-studio-all.aspx#tab4
I recommend doing the Distributed/Enterprise exam last. Choose either windows or web based on what you are currently doing, so you get a feel for how the exams work before moving into technology you may not have so much experience with.

Hi,
because most of the exams are a little bit outdated (and partly retired) you should go for the .NET 4 certifications - http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification/mcpd.aspx#tab2
The best exams would be the ones from the "Web Developer 4" certification track. I would recommend that you start with 70-515.

For better help and support for further questions you should ask your question in the "Training and Certification" forum at MSDN - http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/CertGeneral/threads
