I installed the latest version of this to be used with VS 11 Beta (and it says its compatible) but it doesn't appear in the Source Control plugin dropdown, any ideas why?
I installed the latest one, but I will try and download and install again to be sure.
That's what I'm trying to do but it doesn't appear under source control or in the Plug-In Selection area. VS 2010 doesn't even seem to have Source Control in settings (All Settings is ticked).
I have found some odd behaviors in the 11 beta. For example, it can hose up VS 2010s ability to use the query designer. I suspect that the beta might take existing installed options and use them unless it is a virgin installation on a plain machine. You
might try this beta again but this time on a VM that is dedicated to only that task.

Because AnkhSVN doesn't support VS 11 beta. Submit a ticket with the makers of AnhkSVN to add support of it. It supports up to vs 2010 at this point.

It certainly claims to on the site, I also looked in VS Web 2010 Express and still couldn't find it though.

Seems like AnkhSVN 2.3 will support it apparently, according to this link here: http://ankhsvn.open.collab.net/servlets/NewsItemView?newsItemID=154
Maybe you were using an older version?

Ok, I think I see what you have going on... to enable AnkhSVN as the source control, do the following steps:
Tools > options > Check "Show all settings" > Source Control > Select AnhkSVN - Subversion SUpport for Visual studio

So source control option isnt even there? Is this VS2010 express because I know that probably doesn't allow add-ins.

It is VS 2010 Express, I figured that's why it wasn't there but I was also aware the option doesn't appear unless you have a valid SVN installed.
It's also why I tried VS 11 Beta because it said it worked with it but I can't get it to appear despite re-installing.
