I have a message on my class, at the following code:
bool localDataOnly = Boolean.Parse(ConfigurationManager.AppSetting["LocalDataOnly"]);
I'll be very happy someone can help how can I solve this.

add reference to system.configuration.
and then put

include the above in your classs file
note: you may need to add a reference of the assembly System.Configuration.dll

Try adding "using System.Configuration;" or use WebConfigurationManager

I know you're amazing at answering questions and I have an issue with a problem that I can't even read a simple connectionstring from my .net 4.5 project.

The reference was in my client, but not in my dal class. I was looking at the referenced dlls from my client app. As soon as i added it to my dal class, it was fine.. what an idiot!
