Customer: Secretariat of the Navy; Department of the Navy Assistant for Administration Information Technology Division (SECNAV DON/AA ITD).
Senior or Principal Level
Experience
DoD 8570 compliance of IAT level 2. Must have Security+ certification.
DoD Secret clearance is mandatory.
Strong oral and written communication skills. Candidate duties will require meetings with DoD SES level federal employees and GS15 level federal employees.
Strong understanding of developing DoD secure and compliant web applications using DoD STIGs.
Experience developing web applications using any combination of Java/JavaScript/JSP, .NET, ColdFusion , HTML, XML, Oracle PL/SQL and full stack frameworks such as JavaEE and WebObjects. (.NET and JAVA is preferred).
Experience with Oracle database administration 10g/11g and Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 administration.
Experience developing in Microsoft Server OS environment 2003/2008.
Candidate should feel comfortable with multitasking, DoD project management processes, using POA&Ms, capturing procedures in the form of an SOP and creating weekly status reports.
Ability to work independently is a MUST as some requirements will require the candidate to gather and analyze requirements from the customer, construct a process model describing the flow of data etc... and develop and deliver a final product.
