I have made an update to my category links module.

Module Name: Schmidt Software Categorized Links

Module Function: Organize your web links into categories.

    URL to Module: http://www.schmidtsoftware.com/DotNetNuke/Default.aspx?tabid=44

    DNN 2.x

    I added the following items:

    1) Allow editing based on module setting rather than host account.
    2) Added description for links
    3) Added category filter
    4) Added cacheing of main links page
    5) Added back buttons.

Has anyone had any luck configuring DotNetNuke to authenticate through Active Directory? I am trying to set up DotNetNuke for a small web my company works for and they are real big on having everything use AD for permissions.

    BIG THANKS TO REPLY'S!!

    Schwingsoft Interactive Shadow

    description:

Shadow module content from any tab any portal, even different domains portals.

It isnt called interactive for nothing using a remote scripting engine it just not displays the module content on any tab you want but you can do cool things with it as well, have the content appear onclick of image, link, a tabbedlike structure in a popup layer ( free soon to be released addon) rewrite the content returned ( another soon to be released free addon), and last but not elast soon to be released addon ( interactivey shadow non dnn content ( html, php, cold fusion etc )

Lot of use cases, because this module integrates a remote scripting engine into a page you can use the functionality of this module with other modules as well, you can even write a custom module yourself that can use this, combine it with calendar, xmod, user defined table faq, dnn content builder etc, you name it it can be done. Create your own interactive master detail views without page refresh without programing using modules from multiple tabs normal view detail view, all is possible

Thanks to the ASP.NET team, we now have a cool feature inASP.NET 2.0, which allows remote calls to server events whithout causing the page to post back and refresh. This is great, but we have to wait until ASP.NET 2.0 is released and we can't do anything in the meanwhile. But this feature is now available to any dnn developer.

    sample:
    See it work

jfoster - I think you may be in the wrong forum here... this is for posting custom modules?
