  Forums.asp.net Search Update tonight

  What is happening?
  

  The search on this site is being updated this evening sometime between 5p CST and 8p CST.  I will repost to this thread when complete.

  What has changed?
  

  It is a complete rewrite that should be in functional parity with what the previous implementation was "supposed" to do.  It should be faster and results should be more accurate.

  How do I use it?

  Fill in search terms and go.  The index should be updated immediately so new posts should show up shortly (almost immediately) after posting.

  This was held back tonight due to a few late breaking issues.  They should be resolved and this launched tomorrow.  I will update accordingly on this thread.

  Search has been deployed on new technology.  It should be much much faster and produce better results.  Please post back to this thread if you see any issues.

  Final stabilization release was completed this afternoon.  Everything is working as expected.  

  Have positive feedback?  Found a bug with search?  Curious how to get what you need from the new search engine?  Please post your question/feedback here.
