I am really hoping someone can help me out here, i have spent the last 3 days working on getting my HMC environment up and running. And for them most part i have been successful howevr i am now getting the error:
CheckDependencies fails. The customer does not have a service plan for required service(s) : Active Directory (I cannot get past this)
Whne i try to create a new email box for a new client. I am very certain that i have just messed up some configuration comand somewhere and i just havent seen it. Which configuration files should i check? How can i verify that my exchange mailbox database
and public folder stores are setup correctly?
SignupAdmin-3892this is also showing up as anError: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Please check logs for more details.
I had to manually create the BusinessMailstore1 - to get the exchange store portion of this to work. also i did not configure any certificates or autodiscover dns records.
Well all the steps have successfully completed in the mps deployment wizard. can you put me in the direction of fixing the service plan? I am not sure where/how to troubleshoot this.
This error indicated that it can't find the appropriate AD object.
You probably have some problem wiht your XML. Check your XML file. If you have everything successfully executed according to the installation/deployment guide, and you have successfully created all the resellers, and sample organization, subscribing to Exchange
plan and creating Exchange users, then it should be your XML problem.
Did you follow the full installation steps or just part of it? HAve you created the reseller and then the business Organization? Then subscribe the Organization to the Exchange plan? All these should be part of the deployment guide, after the MPS deployment
Wizard.
I did all of the above steps. as per the directions. the only steps i skipped was clustering all of the servers. this system only has 8 GB of RAM. THe next upgrade for this box which it does support is 1000.00 (to bring it to 16GB RAM). - i cannot afford
that.
I am rebuilding from the ground up. I will be more careful and ensure that each step is completely completed in order.
I am also going to snapshot each system after each step is performed. that will take a little longer but in the end i will be able to revert if needed.
The problem has nothing to do with the Exchange clustering or whatever. Make sure you run through the steps till the part you can do all the provisioning of resellers, creation of organization and user and etc.

Which step are you failing. The error tells me that you are missing some steps and the AD service plan isn't created properly.
