you can go to
http://resources.businessobjects.com/support/additional_downloads/runtime.asp#05 and try to look for the runtime that suits your environment. Currently, I am using Crystal Report 200 (v12) and everything works OK. Trust me, you will find problems after
problems when trying to deploy it at the first stage, but please just do not give up ;-)
think i found the problem but i cant solve it,when i open the visual studio 2005 and click right on the Bin folder and click add reference ,i saw
The Crystal decision Dlls with Version 10.2.3600.0 and their path c:\\programfiles\\comonfiles\\Businessobjects\\2.7\\managed\\*.Dlls Files
But when i go to this path and see the dlls Files,I saw Different Version 10.2.51014.0 Not 10.2.3600.0
is it the problem or What,if it is how can i solve it?
And when i click on the site in the soution explorer and click on property pages,i saw the references with version 10.2.3600.0 but actually not exists
i removed them to add the existing Dlls with version 10.2.51014.0 and click browse in the path c:\\programfiles\\comonfiles\\Businessobjects\\2.7\\managed\\*.Dlls and add them in the reference
but it is not added,,,
Could not load file or assembly 'CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.ClientDoc, Version=10.2.3600.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified
have u installed the Crystal Reports Engine in your server? If not than u should,Actaully what caould be happening is the server is not having the crystal reports engine to execute the reports. another cause could be the engine's version
number may different.
no im not installed the crystal report(mrege modules) on the server ?how to install it ,i havent the path c:programmfiles\\commonfiles\\2.7\\managed\\mergemodule

no its not required to install the visual studio...
for crystal report file just look into you program files in you development system under
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Crystal Reports\CRRedist\IA64
you will get this file CRRedist2008_ia64.msi, install only this in the deployed server...
