developing application for IPhone using requires another framework called mono framework which is a a cross platform open source .NET development framework. you can check the details of that here
do you want develop a web application / standalone application which runs on Iphone?? if it is a website you need not worry ab't it, coz web applications are accessed using a browser, and safari browses almost all the website, you may find little CSS things
not working and little weird behaviour for web application.
i guess you want to develop a stanalone application for Iphone, just like something which resides on iphone. this is possible by mono framework from novell. almost 30+ applications which run on iphone are coded in C#. for a walkthru you can checkout this
links which gives an idea on what you need and how you do it.
This looks very interesting, I just happened to know this today from this thread. I have thought about doing some fun iPhone development and have bought a few books, but yes, as most C# developers would feel, objective-c can be an annoying barrier. We
C# programmers look down upon such languages as objective-c.
But I wonder how far monotouch can go in iPhone development though. Any thoughts?
