Environment used : Asp.net 2008 webapplication with c#
Problem : I want to connect to the oracle database in my webapplication. so i just download
oracle provider for .net (ODTwithODAC1110720.zip) from oracle.com. and install it .
and it is working fine.
and connect oracle database to my application in development server.
but when i publish this webapplication into iis7. then it will through the error
Could not load file or assembly 'Oracle.DataAccess, Version=22.214.171.124, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89b483f429c47342' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
How to remove this?
please provide me the solution.

I have followed the instruction according to given url.
but still system throw the same error.
give me any other suggestion.

Where is the IIS you deployed the ASP.NET application? If the IIS is in another machine, please also install the Oracle Provider for .net on the host server.
You can check whether there is the assembly named "Oracle.DataAccess" with version "126.96.36.199" in GAC (C:\Windows\assembly) or host server.

I think you will have to install the same provider on the publish server. If you can not install the same provider on it or you are afraid to do that then do the following. It should work.

I am having same problem on loading oracle.dataaccess. here's the message i get.
I have following entries in my web.config for this.
<add assembly="Oracle.DataAccess, Version=188.8.131.52, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89b483f429c47342"/> under assemblis
<assemblyIdentity name="Oracle.DataAccess" publicKeyToken="89b483f429c47342" Culture="neutral" />
<BindingRedirect oldVersion = "184.108.40.206" newVersion = "220.127.116.11" />
I am developing on vs 2008 on vista machine. I have my IIS 7.0 application pool enabled for 32-bit applications. and my platform target for this project is x86 instead of 'any cpu'.
I still trying to figure out what exactly wrong in this case.
any help is apprieciated.
