I'm connecting remotely to my workstation and it's a Win 2008 R2 server. The FPE 2002 used to work on Win 2008 before we upgraded, but no longer work. I have a solution file that i need to open and it requires FPE to be installed. 

How do I go about doing this now? I can't just open the website, I need to open the solution. Thanks.

FPSE does not work under IIS 7.5.  However, I believe that you can install IIS 7.0 in place of 7.5.

You can install FPSE 2002 for IIS 7.

FPSE cannot be installed on IIS 7.5.  However, while you can choose to install IIS 7.0 or 7.5 on Windows 7, I am not sure if this is an option for Windows Server 2008 R2.  If this is the case, then you need to consider the following:
