Here's an annoyance that's popped up. I've found that in design view I have to click a control twice to be able to drag it -  one click to select and then another to click and drag. If I try to click and drag on the first click the control(s) are only selected. Click too fast the second time and I create a default event handler. I'm not sure when or why this started happening, but I certainly wish I could fix it. Any ideas?

This doesn't directly answer your question, and probably isn't what you want to hear, but my recommendation is to NOT position controls using the designer in VS. Use css files instead. Most developers I know only ever go to design view for quickly creating event handlers.

    Hi,

Please don't click the control to select it, instead, you can move the cursor on control and then press mouse to drag control.

If the control has been selected, you can press arrow keys to move it.

    Thanks.

Clicking a control and pressing the mouse over a control sound like two ways of saying the same thing. What I am saying is that I have to first select a control before being able to move it. Click once to select, click again and hold to reposition. How it should work is click to select OR click and drag to reposition -  no second click required. That's default behavior to the best of my knowledge and that's the behavior I'm trying to get back.
