I'd like a recommendation on which software program to get.

project: make changes and add to an existing .aspx file with C# that is drawing on webservices from an outside vendor.

I have to make changes to the code, tie into more of the XML functions that are outlined in their WSDL

add html programming and tables and eye candy.

my skills: I know some html, and get barely make my way thru dreamweaver, I have no current knowledge of XML, C# or WSDL

needs: a development envirronment that is easy to use, easy to learn and would allow me to do C# programming,

make changes to the C# that is already in the file, tie in XML from the WSDL from an outside vendor.

add html and tables and design aspects. Preferably this would all be with a WSWIG UI.

What program to get?

Please advise which program of below I should get. Or recommend a different one.

Does Visual Studio 2008, contain the other programs listed.

Please let me know which of these programs will do what I want,

which are easiest to use, and which are the most WYSIWYG like. in a UI.

Start off with Visual C# 2008 Express and learn C# and ASP.NET. However if can afford Visual Studio 2008 Pro and cannot wait for the release of VS2010 next March, then get VS2008 Pro.

Expression Studio 3 is a great tool but you can do HTML design almost as well in VS2008 Express or Pro.

(of course if you have a PC you can readily re-format and re-build, get the VS2010 Beta 2 Ultimate!)
