Hi all,

in my reports I set the page size according to the German standard format "DIN A4" which is

width: 21cm height: 29,7cm

or 8,27in x 11,96in

Within the report developer when I press the print button the printer dialog which comes up shows me correctly page size "DIN A4".

When I deploy the report and call it from the web-browser from within my web application (same machine, same printer) the print dialog shows me a "user defined" page size (21,01cm ...).  Same with the customer. His printer shows an error and he wants to get it solved.

Even playing arround with slightly smaller or higher values I can't match the exact DIN A4 page size.

Hi there!

The ReportViewer is affected by a round-off-error when converting DIN A4 to its internal representation (probably the never-failing and outer-space-proven inch). A workaround would be to provide imperial page sizes instead of DIN paper formats in the first place: A page size of 8,27" x 11,96" works like a charm.
