    I have read many articles about AD and I understand it is very valuable from a network admin point of view.

    However, I can not find any value for it wehn it comes to web development.

    Most of articles are about using AD with forms authentication.

    I do not know whether this is the only use of AD with asp.

    Can any one tell me an example of a situation where the use of AD would be better than authenticating user using SQL table.
