I have an ecommerce application that I bought some time ago which came with all the bells and whistles.  However it also came with a huge wall of viewstate.

 Now with viewstate it effects 2 things. Performance and SEO.  So I tried various solutions that was within my aptitude.  I tried various methods moving the viewstate to the bottom, but of course you still had the performance issue.  Moving it to the server well I didn't feel I was up to the task.
