Hi guys,
I have published my clubsite to IIS and everything works a treat - users can register and everything else.
The problem happens when I enter into the asp.net website admin tool to add them to the administrators role.
When I access the security section, I get this error:
There is a problem with your selected data store. This can be caused by an invalid server name or credentials, or by insufficient permission. It can also be caused by the role manager feature not being enabled. Click the button below to be redirected to a page where you can choose a new data store.
So I go into the provider section and select "Single provider for all site management data" and click test - all appears to be ok. But when I go back to the security tab, I get the same message!
Is there anyway to fix this?
Also - is there a way to have any new user automatically become part of the administrators group?
