I am trying to rights-protect PDF documents that are stored in SharePoint document libraries. I understand that you have to write custom protectors as a protector for PDF is not available from microsoft. Now i dont want to use Adobe LiveCycle rights management
platform. I have already contacted Gigatrust who provides protector and desktop add-in as well for rights-protecting PDF documents. But that is for MOSS. They dont support WSS.
I am using WSS 3.0.
So what approach should i take to accomplish this?
Is there any other way to right protect PDF documents?
Please point me in the right direction as i searched a lot but could not get a concrete solution to the problem.
If anybody has already done this please help
