I was using Web Sphere hosting. but then i come to know that my application needs full trust level.
I am using Asp.Net 2.0, Mssql Server 2005, ajax controls and smtpop dll's. I want to know which hosting plan will be good for me in above condition. Hope you will give me right one, because i have already wasted my couple of doller for hosting.
I need to host an ASP.Net website, which makes use of Reflection. To be more precise, I'm using Spring.Net to do Dependency Injection and NHibernate for my Data Access Layer, and both of them make extensive use of Reflection.
Therefore I need to host my website on a server with Full-trust level. Of course the best way to do that is to go for a dedicated server, but I don't have the money for that. So I need to stick with a shared-hosting server.
I know there are a few who offer that, including webhost4life. However I'd like to gather some opinons before I take a decision. Does anyone use Spring.net or NHibernate with a SQL Server database, and if so, where do you host your website ? Do you get good
performances ? How much do you pay ?
Thanks in advance !
Sam

Hi,
Should i use windows hosting 2003 or 2008. because in features list they said that provide delegated trust level in windows hosting 2008. and in 2003 hosting they provide full trust level.
I am not sure about 2008 delegated trust level control.
It is your choice what server you want to be hosted on as both Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 can meet your needs. On our Windows 2003 servers, we host sites on Full Trust. On our Windows 2008 servers, the defalut trust is Medium Trust, however, because
we delegrate the trust level control, you can change this to Full Trust within your web.config or in the Micrososft IIS 7 Manager. Customers can choose which version of Windows server they want to be hosted on via our online order form at the time of sign
up.
To be honest shared hosting is a bit old fashion now and should really be replaced with virtual hosting which allows for a higher degree of isolation (not subject to other sites causing you problems). You can control your own trust levels as well as other
settings within IIS7. All in all VPS hosting is higher performing and more stable than shared which should make it the plan of choice.
The vast majority of sites on the internet are on shared hosting platforms and is still growing so its not old fashion (even more popular than vps). In our shared hosting environment, customers can control their trust levels as well. It
really depends on what you are looking for. Typically vps costs more too.
Giresh, some hosting companies offer full trust by default in shared application pools which makes it very insecure. All our clients get their own isolated application pool and full trust permissions. You can be sure your site will be safe and fast.
