    Split off from http://forums.asp.net/t/1447885.aspx.

If someone answered a question properly, is there any necessity to answer the post again and again. It is not just gaining the points. It makes new users confusing.

    Thanks.

I agree 100% NHoque! The only reason that I can figure is to gain points?

    Hi,

I decided to split it off from the original thread since it had no value there but in the Feedback forum it certainly has.

It's indeed so that we see more and more people parroting others. When you see such replies please use the Alert moderators link which you can find in each post in the right lower corner. This is the advised and correct way to deal with something like this. The moderation team can then take a look at it and act accordingly.

    Grz, Kris.

You'd be getting a lot of alerts then Kris. I counted 10 dups in one thread earlier.

very likely but if more people people get it that parroting isn't appreciated and that they can better focus on really trying to help and getting their answers marked in those threads it would be a good thing. Ultimately that would be the end goal.
