Hello, I just download the kit and installed successfully.

In my machine I have Visual Studio 2005 Acdemic Standard and Visual Web Developer 2008 Express Edition.

Then I want to create an instance of the starter kit, click File, then select New Web Site from the menu. This will

open the New Web Site dialog box.

But I haven't seen the icon of "Personal Web Site Kit", why?

    Thanks.

    Ignore it.

    New question:

How can I change the password after I created an account?

    Hey,

I can't remember off the top of my head whether or not the Personal Website Starter Kit includes a page with a ChangePassword control on it or not. If it does, simple browse to that page and change the password once you have logged in.  If it doesn't, simply create a new page, drop a ChangePassword control on it and away you go.

The other way would be to browse to the membership tables in the database that you are using, and assuming you are using clear text passwords, you should be able to change it directly in the database.

    Hope that helps!

    Gary
