when ever i try and run a web site i get, i may have changed some settings in IE but otherwise I cant do any web dev at home pls help i have to learn some stuff for an interview on monday!!

from vs web, it doesnt show any error just says

"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"

Can you open it if you create a new virtual directory?

Please check out .NET Framework setup, and if any AntiVirus blocks etc.

 How do i use IIS? What settings should i have in Vs2005 and IE?  I have no idea, every thing used to work, on my xp box, now I cant connect at all, Im unemployeed and trying to learn asp.net and im goin to have my house for closed if i cant learn this, I have an oportunity to get a job but i cant even get hello world to show up on vista, am i the only one on the planet that has this prob?
