    Hi Everyone

We are using Team Foundation Server 2008 in our project for bug tracking and configuration management.

I would like to create a user for one of my project in TFS 2008 and i would like to give him access only to see the bugs and he should be able to generate reports only for the bugs. I dont want to give him access for any other work items.

Can anyone tell me how can i achieve this??  For which group i need to assign this user in order to give him access only to the generating reports??

    Thanks in advance

    Regards,
    Anil Kumar

    Answer

    Hi,

Since this forum is ASP.NET forum, I suggest you ask this question on Team Foundation Server - Work Item Tracking, which has many TFS experts.

You can try to use work item queries which allows you to build simple or complex queries to pinpoint the information that you need.

For more information, you can refer to http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms181314(VS.80).aspx and http://geekswithblogs.net/KirstinJ/archive/2008/05/23/work-item-assignments-in-tfs-team-system-2008.aspx

    Thanks.
