I am starting the ASP.net journey. I have an immediate need (by Sept 1) to have a database driven application, but I expect it to be the first of many applications, so I am looking for a good "quick start" kind of book, but one that builds a good foundation to build on. I have some VB knowledge (still consider myself a novice) so I will likely use VB syntax. Site will be hosted with EZ Order Domains so SQL management and server management is relatively easy.

Remember, while your probably a pro, I am a rookie at this, so start me out with easy to understand/follow reading. Tutorials and code samples are a plus.
