    Hi,

If my post is unapproved whom can I ask about it?

How to know the reason for it being not approved?

How to know which moderator has approved/disapproved my post?

    Hi,

    sunny74:
How to know the reason for it being not approved?

When your post doesn’t get approved, you must receive an email message with the unapproved reason. In case you didn't receive that email; you can use the Feedback on this website forum to ask about your post.

FYI: in general your post will be approved in less than 2 hours, but sometimes there will be no moderators online (like today) and so it may take more time to get approved.

    @ sunny74, see this thread too:  http://forums.asp.net/t/1432430.aspx

"how do members dispute posts deleted by moderators when we disagree strongly?".

    tmorton wrote, in part:

each deletion notice contains the username of the moderator who deleted the post, along with the reason for the deletion.  If you have questions on the reasoning, you can (a) PM the moderator for clarification.  If you still do not agree with the decision, you can (b) PM the lead moderator, Mike Banavige (mbanavige), who has the final say on moderator actions.  If for some reason you still do not agree with the decision, you can (c) use the site's Contact form to lodge a complaint.  Typically it is me who will handle those submissions, and escalate them to Microsoft as needed. There have been very few instances where this has happened, and Microsoft has always been supportive of the judgement of the lead moderator.
