i have used ajax AutoCompleteExtender.from the extender when i select any item/data in the text box by pressing enter key i need to fire another query  to get the related data, how do i get the value of the textbox after the selection. text changed event not working

Hi

In autoComplete extender you have a client side event called "onItemSelected" . This event will be fired once you make a selection in autoComplete extender . So just provide a handler(client side function) to this event and in that you can fire other query.
