I upgraded from Office 2003 to Office 2007, installed SP1 and SP2 and several other reccomended D/L's from the site onto my XP Pro laptop and can run MDB's in native mode on Access 2007, but it won't let me.MDE them..
"Can't create the file...If the database has 500 forms, and each form's HasModule property is set to Yes, as many as 1,000 TableIDs are used."
...ok..no problem..I'll just convert it to an Access 2007 .AccDB..that happened ok..so now I'm almost home!!..Now, I'll just convert the .AccdB to an .AccdE..no, actually you won't..SAME MESSAGE..well, what the ?..does a new .Accdb convert?
I created a new .Accdb project, threw a text, list, combo on a form..now..convert to an .AccdE..works fine..
Conclusion:
the Access 2007 conversion facility won't MDE an earlier product, and the .AccDE facility wont create one from a converted earlier version, either.
Bummer..
..thanks for any assistance...
