Hell,
When I alt-tab or click the task bar to switch to SSMS, it takes several seconds for the application to become responsive for me to start using. Once I am in the app it works fine, but I need to switch in and out of it innumerable times a day and this wait time is really adding up for me throughout the day. This is especially frustrating when I am working on critical issues.
No other application does this, i.e. Visual Studio, Outlook, etc, only SSMS.
What could be causing this? How can I troubleshoot this?
