SO I have installed all the latest service packs, Ajax extensions for 2.0 and just about evyerthing else I could get my hands on realted to the Ajax files and releases to get my VS2005 enviornment setup to use Ajax. I don't see any of the Ajax enabled web app extensions or templates when I go to create a new project. If I try to use the ScriptManager, I get compilation erros like: "Error 1 The type or namespace name 'ScriptManager' does not exist in the namespace 'System.Web.UI' (are you missing an assembly reference?) D:\AUSTIN-AgentView\Main\v3.0\Source\GasbAgentServices\index.aspx.designer.cs 38 41 GasbAgentServices"

Is there some documentation someplace or a video that will tell me how to set this up for VS2005. I've already seen all the docs and videos that explain how to setup this up for VS2008, but that's obviously not what I need.

Yes I read the install doc at that location. The download links all point to the same place, so I have installed everything.

 I isntalled the samples, but I have no idea where the install package installed them and can't seem to find them.

Sample won't run. Missing Microsoft.Web.Preview.dll...  ?

Ughhh... I thought this was supposed to be simple. The VS2008 Ajax edition works great, but the 2005 version is ephed up. Unfortunately I have to use VS2005 for this current project... No sign of the Microsoft.Web.Preview.dll...

Microsoft.Web.Preview.dll is a part of Asp.net Ajax 2.0 Future's release ie ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX Futures January CTP and you can download the dll's from the following webite :-

basically all the work , enhancement done in future's january CTP release were included in the SP1 release of .Net 3.5 . I am not sure whether there is any support or interest still present in Asp.net 2.0 ajax future's version since all its content are now included in 3.5 framework .
