Paging is not works in gridviews  I study in History Control What is historyControl than i maitain History Of page.

History Control is meant for scenarios wherein you have to do cross page postings ie when you are moving from one page to another(back and forth kind of action) . Whereas pagination of gridview is a very simple scenario . Can you please be specifc what is not working for you . What you actually mean when you say I have implemented ajax in gridview control ? Please provide more info on what you are trying to acheive.

Which version of VS you are using 2005 or 2008 ? Is your application webconfig file proper ? Its difficult to know what issue you are facing , If you have installed VS2008 the automatically asp.net ajax will be installed and you need not worry about anything . Actually stuff like History etc were included in the service pack(SP1) of .Net 3.5 . So if you are getting lots of issue's then do install the service pack 1 or SP1 . Infact if you have installed 3.5 framework then SP1 is a must .
