    Hi

I have to test the WCF service hosted in IIS.
To confirm the availability of the service:

I entered the following in Start -> Run:
    http://localhost/DerivativesCalculator/Service.svc

Now, the browser is asking for Username, and Passwrod.
I entered Username as Administrator and Password is computer password.

    Error
    An unexpected error has occurred.

So, second time I entered username as rosesoft\Administrator and password is computer password, where rosesoft is the computer name
    This time also same error.
Now I am getting doubt What is my computer username?

How can I find my computer username?

    Thanks in advance...

First it is very strange why you need the credentials . Your login name is Administrator, right? Seemingly not wrong with the username, maybe with your IIS, im not sure.  You can try running your service in VS to see if any problem?

This is a general WCF question and you might get better answers at the official WCF forum: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/forums/en-US/wcf/threads/.
