Hi,

I have ASP.net 1.1 application running on windows 2003 server, I installed the .NET Framework 2.0 on my server and i dont know what's the best thing : running my application on 1.1 or 2.0 ?

there are no guarantees that your 1.1 app will work unchanged on 2.0. you're going to need to test first. I would recommend getting off 1.1 though and moving to 2.0. Also keep in mind that 4.0 (currently in beta) is just around the corner.

I suggest that you look at upgrading to 2.0 as 1.1 may soon be going out of mainstream support.

my Web site is running very well on 2.0, but Im asking, what'is the better ? keep it on 2.0 or 1.1 ?

Considering the way Microsoft continues to optimise IIS and DotNet, I reckon that 2.0 will have the edge on performance.
