We have a citrix server set-up for development. When trying to attach a debugger or debug our ASP.NET 1.1 application we get an error cannot attach debugger. I'm sure it's a security settings as when our admin try to do that he can attach the debugger with no problems.

We cannot have administration rights to the box - so what kind of security settings or policy our admin needs to provide the developers in order to debug our ASP.NET application?

    Hi,

When Visual Studio .Net or 2003 is installed, two user groups are created for development and debugging: “VS Developers” and “Debugger Users”. These user groups provide the basic capabilities needed for normal application development and debugging.

For .NET applications, developers only need the capabilities provided as members of the “Debugger Users” and “VS Developers” user groups.

    Thanks.
