Hi,

 I'm trying to migrate some old applications from .net 1.1 to .net 2.0. While converting some of the applications I did get a prompt to right click on the solution and convert the solution to 'Web Application'. I didn't get this prompt in some of the applications. For these applications where I didn't convert to web application, offcourse I didn't see the partial classes. But still all of the applications are running fine.

My question is why would VS2008 prompt to convert some applications to 'Web Applications' (hence partial classes) and not others. I am sure there must be a reason, and thats what I'm trying to find out.
